Style Option 1 (De Stijl):
Complete a valentine using the following: a. Straight lines (vertical and horizontal) b. Rectangles and squares c. Primary colors and black and white Style Option 2 (Georgia O'Keefe): Complete a valentine by creating the following: a. a close up image of flower, bone or object of your choice Style Option 3 (Edward Hopper): Complete a valentine by creating one of the following: a. an image that documents life today (fashion, architecture, technology, culture, etc.) b. an image that documents life in another time (future or past). Style Option 4 (Cubism): Complete a valentine by creating one or both of the following: a. An image of an object/s from many angles b. A collage Style Option 5 (Non-objective): Create a valentine without a recognizable subject. Make a picture of lines, shapes, colors, textures and values. Style Option 6 (Andrew Wyeth): Create a valentine that tells a meaningful story without words. Style Option 7 (You're an artist!): Write a list of three rules your art must follow. Make a valentine that follows the rules.
